The Tunicate™ eDNA Pump from Jonah Ventures brings simple, portable filtration to your field sampling workflow. Its rechargeable battery provides approximately eight hours of operation, supporting sampling in remote locations without external power. An included carrying case keeps the system organized and ready for transport and use in the field.
Tunicate uses vacuum suction to draw water through an inline filter into a 2-liter collection canister. Collect samples directly from a water source or connect your filter to a Baleen bag. The system accommodates filters with Luer-lock or barbed adapters, giving you flexibility in your sampling setup.
Simple controls make it easy to start, pause, and resume filtration. Canister markings in 100 mL increments help you track filtered volume, and you can empty the canister and continue collecting larger samples. After filtration, pull air through the filter to remove residual water before preservation.
